So you want to be an Edmonton Dragon Boat Festival volunteer? 

We are always looking for effective, dedicated people who want to contribute to this sporting event and multicultural festival in Edmonton.

Volunteer Application Form

The EDBFA relies extensively on volunteer support, not only for Festival weekend, but also for all stages of planning during the year and includes the Board of Directors.

We have tasks for everyone, encompassing “hands-on” handy types to administration junkies and everything in between. We have opportunities for everyone, you need not be a Dragon Boater to contribute. If you have time to give and a desire to contribute within your community, we would be appreciative of your assistance.

• Vendors: recruiting and securing vendors, overseeing health inspections and Festival set-up
• Beer Garden Manager; Securing sponsors, suppliers, overseeing set-up and take-down

Festival Weekend

Do you only wish to volunteer short term?

We have many opportunities for festival weekend, site set up and removal (the week prior and after) as well as assisting our staff in the office.
